Kenny

Alexandra Kenny was born on September 12, 1988 in Saginaw, Michigan. Her childhood could best be characterized by the consumption of Lucky Charms and Apple Juice. She remained active and interested in many things included softball, volleyball, basketball, and piano. It wasn't until Junior High when  her awe inspiring creativity was fully realized. It was then that she started writing as much as she could, whenever she could. Original poetry filled sheets of notebooks.Fascinated by quotations and words, Alexandra Kenny's passion for the English language was evident.

In her Sophomore year of high school at Nouvel Catholic Central, Alexandra Kenny dropped her first name and would then go by simply Kenny for the rest of her career. She explains with a laugh, "It was kind of an accident, how that happened. One person started to call me Kenny, and it caught on like a wildfire. The rest is history. People don't even know that I have a first name, seriously. When I get carded at the Coast I get funny looks because no one expects that."

Her high school year consisted of confusing times as she continued her journey. She reached a plateau in her creativity. Although she was involved in art classes, she struggled with pen and ink as well as sculpture. "I always knew I was the bomb at drawing. But my art teacher really pushed me to explore other mediums. It was tough but necessary." It was at this time that she also was highly involved in more writing. When asked about her English classes she said, "I would get terrible grades on my English papers. I knew the teachers just weren't ready for the revolution I was about to launch. Anyone that has read my livejournal can't deny the natural talent I have." Yearbook was another involvement that added to her resume. She says,  "Yearbook gave me a lot of experience, just with taking pictures, working on layouts and getting published. It also helped me learn how to work under pressure and under the direction of authority that I don't always get along with. I think I can take that experience and use it in the Advertising and Film industries."

The summer before going off to college was when a genius was reborn inside of her. With a vision to create, she committed to a lengthy project entitled "A Saginaw Summer" which was a true look at the lives of people that were close to her. "That was so real. People love shows like Laguna Beach but that isn't real. My documentary had all the great elements that make people fascinated with reality shows. I'm most proud of that project." The DVD cut of the film featured another undeniable hit, a music video set to the music of "I'm Blue Da Ba Dee". Kenny continues to produce short music videos in her spare time.

As of right now Kenny is currently working on a screenplay based on her life that she claims will "change the way people see the world." She resides in East Lansing, Michigan and attends Michigan State University. After college she plans on moving to Los Angeles to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming famous.
